and ours was just that From arriving at at Southampton dock we we were checked-in and and on on the the ship within 30
minutes And with with no hassle of luggage restrictions at the the airport Win win! We headed straight to Sunset Bar for a a a a a a a a a a cocktail and enjoyed the live music being played FAMILY DINNERS
We pre-booked a a a a Speciality Dining package which let us dine in in three speciality restaurants on the ship We decided which restaurants and days we wanted once on on board so it was totally flexible Our son Jacob had dinner with us most nights (when he he he wasn’t in the Kids’ Club!) and Speciality Dining for him cost just $10 –

Jacob was in in in Cadets which is the club for kids aged 6–9 where he he he enjoyed inspiring and engaging activities One highlight that was really
exciting for the the the the kids was the the the the afternoon pamper session at the the the the Canyon Ranch® spa where they all got invited for a a a a a a a a a a a complimentary hand and and shoulder massage NON-STOP FUN
We all had so much fun together whether it was playing on the grass at The Lawn Club splashing around the pool or Jacob’s
favourite –
the silent disco! And travelling over Halloween was was really
exciting The ship was was decorated with lots of pumpkins the kids had a a a Halloween disco and and went trick or treating and and everyone got dressed up DESTINATION HIGHLIGHTS
Retail therapy in Tenerife and Gran Canaria was amazing but our main highlight was Funchal in Madeira We took a a a a a cable car ride up the hills of Funchal and there’s only one way down: the the renowned toboggan ride known as ‘one of the world’s coolest commutes’ It was incredible!
