Celebrity Silhouette Staycations – Healthy At Sea Protocols

Responsive image

We’ve been hard at work developing new health and safety protocols to keep you Healthy at Sea.

We’ve partnered with medical and scientific advisers from our Healthy Sail Panel, our Global Head of Public Health and Chief Medical Officer; and local health and government authorities to guide us in the development of our protocols.

From bow to stern, we’re taking extraordinary measures to keep you Healthy at Sea. We’re sailing with fewer guests for more space—and more luxury. Our enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols and enhanced medical centre set a new industry standard.

Where local government regulations differ, we will comply with local requirements. We will continually evaluate and update these requirements and protocols as new information becomes available.

Only residents of England, Scotland, Wales, The Channel Islands and Northern Ireland are permitted to sail at this time.

Vaccination & Testing Requirements

Guests aged 18 years and older must be fully vaccinated with all Covid-19 vaccine doses administered at least 14 days prior to sailing. Proof of vaccination will be required. All Crew members onboard will be vaccinated.

Vaccinated guests will also require proof of a negative PCR test for COVID-19 (this may be displayed either as an RT-PCR or PCR test, both of which are acceptable) up to or within 3 days of sail date.

Full PCR testing instructions will be provided via email to the guest in advance of sailing but we have outlined the key details below....

  • Guests may register to book a complimentary PCR test for Covid 19 through Eurofins, our medical services provider. Eurofins testing locations are available at selected locations throughout the UK. Each guest must register individually.
    • Guests can register and book their test HERE.
    • Should guests have any questions on booking their Eurofins PCR test, please call Eurofins on 01925 984145.
    • It is recommended you take your passport along with you to your appointment

  • For those guests who feel they reside too far from a Eurofins test location or may prefer to book their own PCR test, we offer the ability to conduct the required testing with a local medical services provider and will reimburse the guest up to £100 per test.
    • When scheduling an appointment for PCR testing with a medical services provider of choice, advise that you will need the PCR test result in-hand before travelling to the cruise terminal on sail date. Verify that the medical services provider can meet this deadline and provide you the necessary PCR test result documentation before confirming your appointment.
